2017 has started with much excitement!!

Hello Stampers

Well the new 2017 Occasions Catalogue and Sale-a-Bration Brochure are both now live and much excitement has been shown for all the goodies available.

My beautiful family have spent Christmas here with me and they have now,  all gone back home and I can get back into my craft room again :)  My room looked like this for 3 weeks while my 2 little grand daughters Ivy and Peri slept here amongst all the fun things.  One morning my daughter-in-law went in to say Good Morning to Ivy who is 18 months old only to find she had reached a few of my punches and had them in her cot with her :)  Definitely a budding "Stamper" don't you think??

This week I have had a couple of days to get all my January birthday cards done and also preparing for my first card class for 2017.  I used "Number of Years" Stamp Set and Framelits for a couple of my January birthdays - a friend's granddaughter who turned 6.  I also used Fairy Celebration for this one

and another friend who turned 50!!

Both are using the Stitched Framelits also.  These are my go to Framelits for nearly every card at the moment :)

Now I am also getting ready for my first class for 2017 and the theme will be "Embossing Folders and their many uses"

A sneak peek of a couple my ladies will be doing -

This year I am also introducing my "Class by Mail" for those who are unable to get to my classes here on the Sunshine Coast.  No matter where you are in Australia you can participate in these classes.

I will begin in February and each month I will feature a particular stamp set and the kits will include all materials required to complete 6 cards - 2 of 3 different designs.  Costs for each kit will vary from month to month, depending on stamp set or Bundle featured.  More info coming soon.  If you are interested and want to know more just send me an email here.

Also my Hostess code for January is VSCUGEX9 and place your order online through my shop using this Hostess Code and you also receive a surprise little extra gift from me.  You must remember to leave your contact details, though, when ordering so I know where to send your goodies :)  This code will be active until the end of January.

Hope you are all having as much fun playing with the new fun things in this  2017 Occasions Catalogue as I am.

Happy stamping

I have been doing a little bit of traveling lately catching up with Family cause sometimes phoning and skyping is just not quite enough.  So I had to see them all and collect all my hugs in person.  My son and his family are all in Singapore so a lovely week was spent visiting them.

Then popped up to Darwin for a few days to catch up with my brother and his family.  It was just as hot and sticky here as it was in Singapore!!! but got to spend some time on my brother's boat and it was just perfect :) :)

So now back to my fun crafting world and it is only 29 days till Christmas Day!!!!  So many things to do.

If you have a "crafty" friend to buy for Christmas and you don't know what to get?  How about a Stampin' Up! Gift Card through me?  If you live in Australia just email me here and I will let you know the details.  I will also include a free Occasions Catalogue, which begins 04 January 2017,  with every Gift Card issued as well as the Gift Card Holder. What crafter would not love a new Catalogue to browse through over the Christmas break and then go shopping after Christmas for all the new fun things coming out in January :)  I would love it!!!

My Retreat for 2017 is filling fast.  Already half full so if you have marked it in your calendar - 6th & 7th May 2017 -  please pay your deposit as soon as possible to avoid disappointment in missing out. Email me here for more details or check out more information on my website on my Calendar for May 2017.  Hope to share the fun and excitement with you in 2017 :)

Another super fun event has come and gone and it was just as much fun as ever :)  The main 2 1/2 day event was held here in my home town of Brisbane here in Australia and there were visiting Demonstrators from around the world and such laughter and fun times with Sara and Shelli.  I just love their demonstrations!!!

Next Onstage Event will be held in Amsterdam, Netherlands.  I won't be able to get to that one,  but One Day Local Events are also held at locations all around the world.  The South Pacific ones will be held on 8th April 2017 in Sydney, Perth and Auckland.  The Sydney one is being held at Luna Park so that will be a ton of fun!!!!

These events are only held for Demonstrators so I would love you to share the fun and excitement with me.  Join my "Sunburst Stampers" Team and you can :) No other obligation and your joining kit is fully customisable.
For just A$169, you get:

* Your choice of up to $235 worth of any current Stampin' Up! products!
* A business supply pack valued at $80!

That's a total value of $315!

and then all your purchases at 20% discount.  How good is that?

I joined as a Hobbyist in February 2011 when I was still working and have not looked back since.  I am now retired and I love every day of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator :)  My "Job" now is the best I have ever had!!!

Email me here for more info on how to "Join the Fun"

Until next time Happy Stamping!

October News

Hi there Stampers

Boy where does the time go????  One whole month has gone already since my last post :/
My World Card Making Day early in October was a success and I have a winner for my September Competition.  Thank you to all those happy stampers who placed an order online at my shop :) and the lucky winner is Robyn!!!!  Congrats Robyn and hope you enjoy all the goodies you picked up with the $50.00 Gift Voucher.

We did a few Make-and-Takes with the ladies who popped in over the course of the day...

This first one was a simple and easy Christmas card using the markers on the acrylic block technique as the background to the sentiment which is from the "Wondrous Wreath" Stamp Set and "Warmth and Cheer" Designer Washi Tape.  Each card turned out slightly different which is the beauty of this technique

The second Make-and-Take demonstrated by Sonia, my wonderful and talented Team Member, used the Z-Fold Technique and the "Floral Phrases" Stamp Set and Designer Series Paper.  This has to be one of my favourites in this Annual Catalogue.

This one also used washi tape in the design.

I had a break from stamping later in October when I visited my Son and his family in Singapore. My son took a few days off work while I was there and I got to spend some really lovely family time with them all :) My Daughter-in-Law had to go to work :(  We had fun at the Aquarium and lunch at The Hard Rock Cafe on Sentosa Island

and did the tourist topless bus trip which my 4 1/2year old Grandson loved both :)

So now back to my days of Stamping Fun on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.  How I love home and our beautiful weather and beaches :) :)

Busy getting ready for Stampin' Up!s annual OnStage Event at the moment,  which is being held at different locations all over the world, however, the main event will be here in Brisbane!!!  I am just sooooo excited to meet all the demonstrators who are making the journey to Australia from overseas and also from all over Australia.  This is just one of the great things I love about being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.  Meeting more creative people, swapping creations, laughing and learning new techniques and business lessons as well.  They really support their Demonstrators from Hobby Demonstrators to those who are building successful businesses.

I have finished my 50 swaps.....

I have made my 50 swaps this year with all the new 2016-2018 In Colours -  Flirty Flamingo, Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy, Peekaboo Peach and Sweet Sugarplum.  Also the background is using the "Touches of Texture" Stamp Set and the sentiment from the "Garden in Bloom" Stamp Set and, of course, the gorgeous heart using the Framelit from the Bloomin' Heart Framelits.  The heart has been cut from the Playful Palette Designer Series Paper Stack.  So it all matches :) :) I hope they all like them.

The Event is a 2 1/2 day event and we all stay somewhere close to the Convention Centre so we don't miss out on one minute of the fun!!  So Roomie Gifts are essential for my other 3 Roomies for each night :) :)  These are all finished too but I can't show you them yet as that would spoil the surprise hahaha  So next Blog after the event I will share pics of them :)

Happy Stamping Everyone

Still working on my Europe Trip Album and the next 3 pages completed are 13, 14 and 15...

Just so easy slotting the photos and the journalling into the pockets and they are protected from the outside air as well.  The flowers I used for embellishing were ones that were left over from another card project so I use all by extra bits here in my Albums.  Nothing is wasted :)

Happy stamping

Coffee, Cake and Card Morning

Hello Stampers

I had my first Coffee, Cake and Card Morning (which I call my CCC Event) recently and it was a great success :) :)

It was an introductory to cardmaking morning and so a very easy card to start with.  I will change it up more as we go along for future events.  I designed a flower themed birthday card and some of the ladies changed theirs later to suit the occasion they had in mind.  I used the Swirly Bird Stamp Set and supplied one of the framelit shapes in their pack to add to their card for a dimensional look.  As the event is held in my local Coffee Shop - Myrtle's Pantry - here on the Sunshine Coast it is difficult to have the participants use any tools like a Big Shot or even a heat gun so I did all that type of preparation beforehand..
So here is my basic card on the left and another showing a bit more complexity....

I also showed that just by adding a little "Wink of Stella" Glitter it adds that bit of extra bling...

One of my lovely class ladies, Dawn, had an 18th Birthday coming up so she adjusted hers to suit that occasion.  Here is Dawn's beautiful card.....

So really looking forward to our next CCC in September and trying to make it a monthly event.  This next one will be a Christmas Theme to get them all started on their Christmas creations for this year :) :) :)

Happy stamping everyone
