Here we are in October already and only 72 days till Christmas!!!! Boy that comes around fast each year :)
My September Competition was drawn on the Saturday 3rd October and, firstly, I would like to thank all those who purchased through my Website shop during the month of September and earned entries into my competition. The winner is Robyn who chose the box of a collection of hand created greeting cards. Congratulations Robyn and hope you really enjoy sending out these cards.
I have been away on a holiday to Tasmania with a wonderful group of friends and so now I have some withdrawal symptoms as I haven't been in my craft room for over 2 weeks!!!!!
We visited many wineries, ate lots of wonderful food, saw the start of the beautiful tulips growing, had silly pics taken and loved all the very pretty trees. All in all had a terrific time.
Now need to get my creativeness going in full gear ready for Christmas. So it will be Christmas cards every day ready to post by the start of December.
I have a few done already....
The first one is using the "Work of Art" Stamp Set as well as the greeting from the "Jingle all the Way" Stamp Set. Add a few stars from the Circle Card Thinlits Set and the bow from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits and you have a super easy and quick, but still stylish card, ready to post.
The second one is using a new technique with the latest embossing folder on Page 39 of the Holiday Catalogue called Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. We will be making a card using this technique at my next stamping gathering on the weekend 30th October/1st November.
